Kelsey Culbert, Astonished! Student Researcher is one of five students in the class “Devising Inclusive Theatre”. The University of Regina course is meant to teach people with disAbilities how to express themselves through theatre. It is a first for the University of Regina and a first for Kelsey. The class will have a performance on April 2 at the Shubox Theatre at the University of Regina. The students collectively wrote the piece that will be performed. We work in inclusive community to address barriers facing young adults with complex physical disAbilities (core members) by creating opportunities for teaching and learning, social, recreational and cultural engagement, and for employment and housing.
