Gifts of securities, land, mutual funds, bequests, Life Insurance policies, etc. can be made to Astonished! and will be converted by South Saskatchewan Community Foundation (SSCF) to liquid assets, and invested in the Astonished! Legacy Funds.
The Board of Directors of The Big Sky Centre for Learning and Being Astonished! Inc. in partnership with the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation (SSCF) have created The Astonished! Legacy Funds.
Astonished! Donors interested in participating in The Astonished! Legacy Funds are invited to visit with a member of the Astonished! Board and SSCF staff to plan for making a gift that will help to create the long-term financial sustainability of The Big Sky Centre for Learning and Being Astonished! Inc. March 7th, 2015, at the Astonished! 3rd Annual Fundraising Event, Ruth Blaser, Astonished! Board Chair, announced that Barbara and Doug Mader, Rebekah Lindenbach, and Harvey Wagner were launching the Astonished! Legacy Funds. They have named The Big Sky Centre for Learning and Being Astonished! Inc. in their wills, thus choosing to leave a legacy for our organization!
Thank you Barbara, Doug, Rebekah, and Harvey. It is our hope that many others will follow your lead.

Donations to the Astonished! Endowment Fund are invested in perpetuity, the capital is never touched. It is left to grow. A portion of the annual investment income from the fund may be used for Astonished!’s operations and programming, thus providing a lasting legacy for Astonished!
Donations to the Astonished! Flow-Through Fund are also invested but may be used at any time, as determined by the Astonished! Board for programming and operational needs, or emergency needs of the organization.
