Our first week of this year’s Big Sky Summer Adventure is approaching soon, and we can’t wait to get back outdoors!
Our first event for this year will be Pizza in the Park on June 17th!
Core members will gather at Candy Cane Park for an evening of pizza, mingling, and games.
Please RSVP and provide the following information by June 10th:
- Emergency contact phone number for the evening of Tuesday, June 17th
- Phone numbers of staff who are on this afternoon (we understand that sometimes there are staffing changes, so if there is a change for another contact person for that afternoon, please provide us with the phone number as soon as you can!)
*** Paratransit: Please note that we require Paratransit bus times or transportation details to be provided a minimum of 2 days before the event. Please provide these details by June 15th.

What: Pizza in the Park
Date: Tuesday, June 17th
Time: 6 pm-8 pm
Location: Candy Cane Park (501 Wascana Dr)
Paratransit: If you are taking Paratransit, please have your drop off at Candy Cane Park (501 Wascana Dr), and please arrive no earlier than 5:45 pm. Pick up will also be at Candy Cane Park (501 Wascana Dr), and please have your pick up be no later than 8:15 pm.
To RSVP for the event, please email eventsupport@beingastonished.com by June 10th! As well, please send your paratransit times by June 15th.
***Weather conditions are unpredictable – our general rule of thumb is to postpone an outdoor event if the percentage of the chance of rain/storms is 40% and higher, with no indoor space readily available. We will typically make the call no later than 2 hours before the event
*** Please note that at the present time Astonished! Staff and volunteers do not provide personal care (washroom needs).
