
Welcome to the second last week of the Garden of Wellness! On Monday August 11th, we will be creating Clay Impressions. We will be using clay as well as leaves and flowers from the garden to make art from the plant’s impressions.
Core Members will meet at the South Zone Community Garden for an activity, snack, and mingling.
Please RSVP and provide the following information by August 4th
- Emergency contact phone number for the afternoon of Monday, August 11th
- Phone numbers of staff who are on this afternoon (we understand that sometimes there are staffing changes so if there is a change for another contact person for that afternoon please provide us with the phone number as soon as you can!)
*** Paratransit: Please note that we require Paratransit bus times or transportation details to be provided a minimum of 3 days before the event. Please provide these details by August 8th.

Location: South Zone Community Garden (3303 Grant RD)
Paratransit: If taking Paratransit please have drop off at South Zone Community Garden 3303 Grant RD and please arrive no earlier than 12:45 pm. Pick up at South Zone Community Garden (3303 Grant Rd) and please no later than 3:15 pm.
To RSVP for the event please email eventsupport@beingastonished.com by August 4th! As well, please send your paratransit times by August 8th.
***Please note at the present time Astonished! staff and volunteers do not provide personal care (washroom needs).
*** Weather conditions are unpredictable. Our general rule of thumb is to postpone an outdoor event if the percentage of the chance of rain/storms is 40% and higher with no indoor space readily available. We will typically make the call no later than 10am on the day of the event.
