Welcome to the third week of the Garden of Wellness! On Monday, June 29th, we will be creating Crystal Suncatchers. Come out and make a dazzling personalized suncatcher!

Core Members will meet at the South Zone Community Garden for an activity, snack, and mingling.

Confirm your RSVP and provide the following information by June 22nd:

Emergency contact phone number for the afternoon of Monday, June 29th

Phone numbers of staff who are on this afternoon (we understand that sometimes there are staffing changes so if there is a change for another contact person for that afternoon please provide us with the phone number as soon as you can!)

***Paratransit: Please note that we require Paratransit bus times or transportation details to be provided a minimum of 3 days before the event. Please provide these details by Friday, June 26th.

**Please note that this event will be open to a maximum of 8 Core Members and is at capacity**

Paratransit: If taking Paratransit please have drop off at South Zone Community Garden 3303 Grant RD and please arrive no earlier than 12:30 pm. Pick up at South Zone Community Garden (3303 Grant Rd) and please no later than 3:15 pm.

To confirm your RSVP for the event please email eventsupport@beingastonished.com by June 22nd! As well, please send your paratransit times by June 26th.

***Please note at the present time Astonished! staff and volunteers do not provide personal care (washroom needs).

***Weather conditions are unpredictable and there is no accessible indoor space or shelter at the garden. Our general rule of thumb is to postpone an outdoor event if the percentage of the chance of rain/storms is 40% and higher with no indoor space readily available. We will typically make the call no later than 11:30 am on the day of the event. As weather conditions can change quickly, we kindly ask that Core Members have an alternate transportation or pickup plan available in the event of unexpected inclement weather. If weather conditions shift rapidly, we encourage group homes and support teams to be prepared to arrange pickup or a safe ride home, as there is limited shelter available at the garden.
