Welcome to week 2 of Big Sky Summer Adventure! For our second event, we will be going to 2934 Inglis Bay (Mel’s parents house) on Tuesday June 23rd.

Core members will gather at 2934 Inglis Bay or a fun evening of enjoying a movie under the stars and having snacks with friends!

Please RSVP and provide the following information by June 16th:

• Emergency contact phone number for the evening of Tuesday June 23rd.

• Phone numbers of staff who are on this evening (we understand that sometimes there are staffing changes, so if there is a change for another contact person for that afternoon, please provide us with the phone number as soon as you can!

*** Paratransit: Please note that we require Paratransit bus times or transportation details to be provided a minimum of 4 days before this event. Please provide these details by Friday June 19th.

What: Backyard Movie Night
Date: Tuesday June 23rd
Time: 7:30pm-10:15pm
Location: 2934 Inglis Bay (Mel’s parents house)

Paratransit: If you are taking Paratransit, please have your drop off at 2934 Inglis Bay, and please arrive no earlier than 7:30pm. Pick up will also be at 2934 Inglis Bay, and please have your pick up be no later than 10:15pm.

To RSVP for the event, please email eventsupport@beingastonished.com by June 16th! As well, please send your paratransit times by June 19th.

***Weather conditions are unpredictable – our general rule of thumb is to postpone an outdoor event if the percentage of the chance of rain/storms is 40% and higher, with no indoor space readily available. We will typically make the call no later than 2 hours before the event.

*** Please note that at the present time Astonished! Staff and volunteers do not provide personal care (washroom needs).

***It is very important that you RSVP for events, as we use the RSVP list to communicate any weather-related cancellations, schedule changes, or important event updates.

• Name of the activity/event
• Name of the Core Member attending
• Whether the Core Member will be bringing a companion/support person
• Mode of transportation
• Emergency contact information for that particular day
• Any important health information, medical information, support needs, or allergy information
